It has been a long time since Rakul Preet Singh appeared on the Tollywood screens. After the disaster of ‘Spyder’ movie starring Mahesh Babu, Rakul got busy with Tamil and Hindi.
Recently, Rakul’s dubbing movie ‘Dev’ starring Karthi got released in Telugu as well but failed to score big at the box office. As per the latest reports, Rakul has signed an interesting film in Telugu. Hero turned director Rahul Ravindran who scored a hit with ‘Chi La Sow’ is going to wield the megaphone for the much-awaited sequel of ‘Manmadhudu’ titled as ‘Manmadhudu 2’ with Nag. If the buzz is to be believed, Rahul has roped in Rakul Preet to play the female lead in this movie. As her character has so much scope for performance, Rakul also accepted the project immediately.
Nagarjuna himself is pooling resources for this film under Annapurna Studios banner. The makers are planning to organize the launching event in the movie is by the end of this month.
