Director Puri Jagannath launched his son Aakash Puri as a hero last year with the film Mehbooba. But unexpectedly, the film turned out to be a failure at the box office. This time, he kept the responsibility of Aakash in the hands of his associate Anil Paduri who is directing Aakash’s second flick, Romantic.
According to the latest grapevine, Puri has okayed Aakash’s third film under the direction of A. Mallikarjun, who is known for making films with Kalyan Ram. He made Abhimanyu, Kalyan Ram Kathi and Sher with the Nandamuri hero and all of them have ended up as disasters.
Thus, many people in the industry are wondering how did Puri approve a director with such a poor track record. But we never know, may be Mallikarjun came up with a good story this time. An announcement regarding this project might be made soon.
