As the current season of Bigg Boss Telugu completed its finale, followers and regular viewers of Bigg Boss are eagerly anticipating details about the second season on OTT.
Speculations are rife that there’s a change in the host for the OTT season. Nagarjuna, who hosted previously, won’t be part of the upcoming seasons, as he has informed the BB management. There are rumors suggesting that Hero Srikanth might take over as the anchor for Bigg Boss Telugu OTT Season 2, although no official confirmation has been made yet.
The first OTT season in 2022 featured 24/7 streaming, and actress Bindu Madhavi emerged as the winner. It included a mix of new and old contestants, with names like Ariyana Glory, Tejaswi Madiwada, Choreographer Nataraj, and Actress Mumaith Khan participating.
There’s also a speculation that this time, participants are being selected from popular YouTube personalities and possibly from the Jabardasth show.
The Bigg Boss team aims for success with this season on Hotstar, hoping for strong viewership, as it could pave the way for a highly anticipated Season 8. Additionally, efforts are being made to secure sponsors for the OTT season, unlike the past where sponsorships were lacking, relying solely on tasks.
The previous OTT season faced low ratings due to its 24-hour live-streaming format. To rectify this, management is keen on avoiding similar mistakes, planning to ensure non-stop entertainment for Season 2, slated to commence in March 2024.
