Two or more films competing on the same day has become quite common these days. Every film producer is trying to cash on the big weekend or festive season and get great collections. Now, three interesting films are releasing on the same day trying to cash on the Christmas season.
Varun Tej’s experimental space film ‘Anthariksham’ is releasing on 21st December. The film is being directed by ‘Ghazi’ fame Sankalp Reddy and there are decent expectations over this flick. Sharwanand too is coming on the same day with his ‘Padi Padi Leche Manasu’ with Sai Pallavi. This romantic film is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and teaser generated good buzz. Also coming on the same date is Kannada’s costliest film date is ‘KGF’ starring Yash which is releasing in Telugu too. If the film gets positive talk it may give tough competition to other releases.
On top of everything is Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Zero’ which is releasing on the same 21st December and it may have a huge effect in urban areas. So, film lovers have a lot of films to cover on 21st.
