The YSRCP led by YS Jagan has emerged with a landslide victory in the Andhra Pradesh 2019 elections. YSRCP was leading by152 seats in the 175-member Assembly. Jagan is all set to take the oath as chief minister of Andhra Pradesh on May 30. Speculations were rife that the swearing-in ceremony may take place at Tirupathi, however, Jagan in his speech earlier today made it clear that it will be held in Vijayawada.

Senior party leader Umareddy Venkateshwarlu informed that party meeting will be held on May 25, Saturday to endorse Jagan as their chief ministerial candidate. The endorsement signed by the winning candidates will be then forward to Governor ESL Narasimhan.
