Japan Faces Travel Crisis After Chilling 2025 Prediction Goes Viral
A Japanese manga artist named Ryo Tatsuki often called the “New Baba Vanga,” has made a new prediction that is creating fear among travelers. Many tourists are cancelling their Japan trips planned for July 2025 due to a warning in her book about a possible major disaster that month.
Ryo Tatsuki is famous for her unusual ability to predict future events. Her book “The Future I Saw” was published in 1999 and later updated in 2021. At first, it didn’t gain much attention. However, after some of her predictions came true, like the deadly 2011 Tohoku earthquake and Freddie Mercury’s death, people began taking her words seriously.
In her latest prediction, Tatsuki warns of a massive underwater rupture near Japan, which could cause giant tsunamis, even bigger than the ones in 2011. She describes the ocean as “boiling,” which some think might mean a volcanic eruption or a huge earthquake. The danger zone includes Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, and nearby islands.
Because of this warning, many people have cancelled their Japan trips, especially during holidays. A travel agency in Hong Kong reported that Japan bookings dropped by 50% recently. The Chinese embassy in Tokyo also advised its citizens to be cautious due to rising volcanic and seismic activity.
While Japan’s Meteorological Agency has not confirmed any specific threat, they say the country is fully prepared for natural disasters. Still, the fear is spreading, especially on social media, where hashtags related to the prediction are going viral. Many are sharing safety plans and tips in case of a disaster.
Even though some people think these predictions are only coincidences, the public reaction has been strong. Whether or not anything will happen in July remains unknown, but for now, Ryo Tatsuki’s warning has already made a real impact on travel and public mood.
