Kalyan Ram and NTR Jr father Nandamuri Harikrishna died at the age of 61, today (August 29) in a road accident at Annaparthi road near Narketpally. The accident happened in the early hours of the morning as he was travelling from Hyderabad to Nellore to attend a marriage function. It is learnt that Nandamuri Harikrishna was behind the wheels and was driving his Fortune car at the speed of 160 km/h. He had hit the car to the divider and it also went on to collide with the vehicle coming from the opposite direction.

Nandamuri Harikrishna was admitted at Kamineni Hospital. The doctors said that his condition was serious and critical. However, later they announced that he died following serious injuries. The news has left entire Tollywood in shock. NTR Jr and Kalyan Ram have left to see their father among other celebrities. Police officials have reached the spot. More details are awaited.
