Bollywood apart from Me Too has in the past been entangled with nepotism, which was raised by Kangan Ranaut. Since then, the discussion over it has never come to a closure. Now Kiran Rao, wife of Aamir Khan aka Mr Perfectionsist of Bollywood has spoken about it stating that at the end of the day only merit speaks.
“We all believe that people also need to be good at their jobs, whether they are related to someone in the same industry or not. Of course, we will always want to make our children achieve what they want to. If that is called nepotism, then it is. We can only set up a ladder for the children but it would be their talent to climb it” said Kiran Rao.
Kiran is known for work like ‘Dhobi Ghat’ movie directed by herself. She had also bankrolled films like ‘Dangal’, ‘Secret Superstar’, ‘Talaash’ etc.
