‘Shaakuntalam’ screenings in Prasads Imax have been affected due to the unveiling of Dr. BR Ambedkar’s statue by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at Necklace Road Rotary near Tank Bund on Friday.
Since the regular traffic is not allowed on the Necklace Road and New Secretariat Road, the film goers are left with no other alternative to reach Prasads Imax. The traffic is diverted between 1 pm and 88pm at various points around Necklace Road and Tank Bund due to the massive public meeting.
Gunasekhar’s directorial is released in theatres all across the globe on Friday with much expectations from fans. “An important update to our beloved fans & moviegoers in Hyderabad: Due to Dr. Ambedkar Statue Inauguration Tomorrow, all the shows at Prasads Imax have been Cancelled. Book your tickets accordingly on other screens!” wrote Gunaa Teamworks on its Twitter handle.
