Saaho is the next big project where the audience is anxiously awaiting for release. Since its first project of Prabhas post-Baahuali, many are looking forward to catch their favourite star on the screen. Meanwhile, we have a good news for all you folks. There was a much speculation going on with Prabhas’ role in the film. It was speculated that he would play a gangster or a role of a cop but those are baseless rumours.
Our sources have said that Prabhas will be essaying the role of a jewel thief. Though the Rebel Star has played petty thief roles, Saaho would be a different game altogether. On the others side, filmmaker Sujeeth Reddy has finalised the film for release in April 2019. It is learnt that makers have pinned April due to sentiments which had worked in the past too. Trade analyst and film news tracker Ramesh Bala confirmed the news as well.
The project has caught all the attention after actress Shraddha Kapoor being roped in as the lead actress. It also has other B-town actors like Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Mandira Bedi and Chunkey Pandey. The film is made on a mammoth scale of whopping Rs 150 crore will be released simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
Meanwhile, reports have emerged that after wrapping up Saaho, Prabhas, will soon join the sets for his next film with Jil fame director Radha Krishna Kumar. A customary muhurat ceremony will be held soon, and the film is likely to go on floors from October. Well, this a big news for all the followers of Prabhas.
Touted to be a period love drama, Pooja Hegde is the leading actress. The film shoot would be held in Europe Hyderabad. Other details of cast and crew are to be announced officially.
Talking about Saaho and its action scenes, the makers have shot intense high-octane action scenes in Abu Dhabi which was supervised by Hollywood stunt master Kenny Bates. The action scenes left many talking as Rebel Star crashed 37 cars for an action sequence that left everyone shell-shocked. Reportedly, the makers wanted to be as real as they could and opted for real cars over CGI.
