When this Anantapur-based Marathi girl did the female lead’s role in Vijay Devarakonda’s Taxiwala, everyone expected her to go places. But, things are not panning out the way Priyanka Jawalkar would have wanted. She hoped that film offers would deluge her. Offers did come by, but she did not find them exciting enough. So, her wait for the right script is still continuing.
Initially, it was rumoured that she would play foil to Akhil in his fourth film, which would be bankrolled by Geetha Arts of Allu Aravind. But, as it turned out, the unit is looking for another girl. So, there’s no Geetha Arts movie for her. Working in Geetha Arts movie would surely have been her launch pad to career success. But, she missed it.
Glamorous Priyanka speaks flawless Telugu and performs well. But, Lady Luck seems to be looking the other way.
