Parineethi Chopra was the first choice to play the female lead in Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. But as she opted out, Rashmika was roped in and the same was announced the other day.
When asked about bagging the role, Rashmika said “I am so thrilled that the announcement is finally out. I had been waiting to tell the world about it, because not only is the story so amazing but also the team I get to work with. It’s like a dream come true. I’m looking forward to this summer, and honestly can’t wait for the film to go on floors soon.”
Animal also has Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in key roles. Sandeep Reddy Vanga will be directing this film on a huge scale. The film’s shoot will start once the wedding of Ranbir will be over.
