Indian 2 is suffering from various problems right from the day it was announced. At first, producer Dil Raju, who was supposed to bankroll the film, walked out of it, due to the heavy budget quoted by director Shankar. Later, Lyca Productions, who made 2.0 with Shankar, came onboard to rescue him.
The film was finally launched and was shot for a few days. Later, it got halted as Kamal got busy in his political works. Meanwhile, it was heard that even Lyca was disappointed with the budget quoted by Shankar and hence, they wanted to take no risk and drop from the project.
Left with no choice, Shankar started approaching other production houses. Finally, it seems that Reliance Productions has come over to produce the project. The production giant will take over the film from Lyca soon and the shoot might resume from the month of June.
