Plot
The plot is simple. Dino Morea Aka God is the man behind a syndicate and he is asked by the government to be gunned down. In comes Agent played by Akhil. He gets orders from the top man played by Mammootty and he rages into action. But things change as the character of Mammootty is asked to kill Akhil. That is the rest of the story.
Performances
Akhil looks solid and his makeover is amazing. The last shot where he showcases a six-pack look is amazing. Dino Morea plays the main villain and he is just amazing. Mammootty looks super handsome and he is playing a key role that has a twist as per the trailer. Sakshi Vaidya looks good.

Analysis
Surender Reddy is known to make stylish films and he has done the same with Agent. He presents Akhil in a new avatar and the setup looks huge. Agent is high on technical aspects as the camerawork is amazing. The rich visuals are of international standards and the trailer cut is also impressive.
The special aspect is the way action has been designed. This is the first time Telugu cinema is seeing such kind of stylized action. Akhil looks super cool in his long hair and Hip Hop Thamiza enhances the trailer with his BGM. The editing part is also good.
In a way, the Agent trailer lives up to all the hype and only gives an idea that the film will be high on so many stunts and actions done by Akhil. The film is Akhil’s first pan-India release and having Mammootty is a bonus. There is a good vibe that the trailer has created as it is filled with richness and newness which is the need of the hour for Akhil and the team.
