బిగ్ బాస్, రోడియస్, స్ప్లిట్స్‌విల్లా లాంటి రియాలిటీ షోలు ఎప్పుడూ టీవీలో హిట్టే. ఒకవైపు వీటిని విమర్శించే వారు ఉన్నా, మరోవైపు మదిలోంచి తీసేయలేని వ్యసనంగా మారాయి. ఇప్పుడు అదే రేంజ్‌లో ఓటీటీలోకి మరో క్రేజీ షో వస్తోంది. “ది ట్రైటర్స్” అనే ఈ షోను కరణ్ జోహర్ హోస్ట్ చేయబోతున్నారు.

ఈ షో జూన్ 12 నుండి అమెజాన్ ప్రైమ్ వీడియో లో స్ట్రీమింగ్ కాబోతుంది. ప్రతి గురువారం కొత్త ఎపిసోడ్ అందుబాటులోకి రానుంది. మొత్తం 20 మంది కంటెస్టెంట్లు పాల్గొంటున్నారు. వారిలో కొందరు పేర్లు ఇలా ఉన్నాయి – కరణ్ కుంద్రా, ఊర్ఫీ జావేద్, రాఫ్తార్, లక్ష్మీ మంచు, పూరవ్ ఝా, హర్ష్ గుజ్రాల్, అపూర్వా, అన్షులా కపూర్, రాజ్ కుంద్రా, జాస్మిన్ భాసిన్, జన్నత్ జుబైర్ ఇంకా చాలామంది.

ఈ షోలో మూడు మంది ట్రైటర్స్ (ద్రోహులు) రహస్యంగా మిగతావారిని ఒక్కొక్కరిని ఆట నుంచి తొలగిస్తారు. మిగిలిన కంటెస్టెంట్లు ఆ ట్రైటర్స్‌ను గుర్తించి వాళ్లను ఎలిమినేట్ చేయాలి. ఇది కొంతవరకు Among Us గేమ్ లా అనిపించొచ్చు.

ట్రైలర్ ఇప్పటికే విడుదల కాగా, దీనిపై రియాక్షన్స్ మిక్స్ అయ్యాయి. కొంతమంది “వావ్! క్రేజీ షో.. కూల్ కాస్టింగ్!” అని పొగడ్తలతో ముంచెత్తగా, ఇంకొంతమంది “ఇది బిగ్ బాస్, రోడియస్, Among Us మిక్స్ లా ఉంది… పీక్ క్రింజ్ షో!” అంటూ ట్రోల్ చేస్తున్నారు.

కాని చివరికి ఈ రియాలిటీ షో కూడా గిల్టీ ప్లెజర్గా మారే అవకాశం ఉంది. చూసి తీరాలి అనిపించేలా చేస్తున్నది కాబట్టి, ఇది ఓటీటీలో బిగ్ బాస్ 2.0 అయి ఉంటే ఆశ్చర్యం లేదు!

Beware of fake UPI apps that look like PhonePe and Google Pay

Cybersecurity experts have warned UPI users about a new scam involving fake payment apps. Fraudsters are now creating duplicate apps that look like real platforms such as PhonePe, Google Pay, and Paytm. These fake apps trick users—especially shopkeepers and small business owners—by showing false payment confirmations.

How the scam works
Scammers use cloned versions of popular UPI apps that appear exactly like the originals. These fake apps can show fake payment screens and even play sound alerts through the shop’s soundbox. This tricks the seller into believing the payment was successful, even though no money is actually received.

How are fake UPI apps spreading?
According to reports, these fake apps are being shared through online platforms like Telegram. Since they look genuine, it becomes difficult for people to identify them easily.

Tips to stay safe
To avoid falling victim to this scam, always check your bank account or official UPI app to confirm if the money has been received. Don’t trust soundbox alerts blindly. Only download UPI apps from official app stores like Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Avoid using unknown or newly introduced payment apps.

What to do if scammed?
If you suspect fraud, report it immediately. Call the Cyber Crime Helpline at 1930 or contact your nearest police station.

Robinhood box office collection day 2

Robinhood directed by Venky Kudumula, is an action-comedy starring Nithiin and Sreeleela. The film released worldwide on March 28, alongside MAD Square. With a special cameo by cricketer David Warner, the movie is expected to bring Nithiin much-needed success at the box office.

The film follows Ram (Nithiin), a modern-day Robinhood who steals from the rich to help orphans. Meanwhile, Neera Vasudev (Sreeleela) arrives in India and travels to Rudrakonda village with Ram. The story takes an intense turn when a mafia leader, David (David Warner), and AV Pharma become entangled in a dangerous game over a unique marijuana variety found in the village.

According to reports, Robinhood earned ₹2 crore on its opening day in India. On the second day, collections were slightly lower, bringing the two-day total to ₹2.02 crore. To achieve break-even status, the film needs to collect ₹28.50 crore. However, positive word-of-mouth and weekend footfall might improve its performance.

Ram Charan’s Bollywood collaboration in the works?

Mega Powerstar Ram Charan is currently working on a sports drama. The film is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and does not have a title yet. The shoot is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

Ram Charan was supposed to work with Sukumar after this project. However, Sukumar needs more time to start the film. He plans to spend a year developing the script. He also has commitments for his production house, Sukumar Writings. Since there is a delay, Ram Charan wants to take up another film in the meantime. He has been in discussions with different filmmakers for his next project.

Bollywood producer Madhu Mantena has a good friendship with Ram Charan. Whenever Charan visits Mumbai, Madhu Mantena hosts him. They have been discussing a possible collaboration. Some Hindi directors are also in talks for the project. However, these discussions are still in the early stages.

The movie’s first announcement took place on July 3, 2024, during a muhurtham pooja event in Hyderabad, attended by renowned industry figures like K. Raghavendra Rao, Harish Shankar and Venkata Satish Kilaru.

The film hit theaters on February 14, 2025, aligning with Valentine’s Day. According to Indian box office reports, Laila earned approximately ₹2.01 crore in net collections across India in its first two days.

The film also features Vennela Kishore, Ravi Mariya, Nagineedu, Harsha Vardhan, Brahmaji, Babloo Prithiveeraj, Raghu Babu, Abhimanyu Singh, and Vineet Kumar.
