1. Anand

A deeply moving love story, Anand revolves around Rupa, a strong woman who calls off her wedding for a personal reason — the right to wear her mother’s sari. 2. Fidaa

This romantic drama set between Telangana and the US focuses on Bhanumathi, a bold and independent girl played brilliantly by Sai Pallavi. Her chemistry with the NRI Varun and the cultural clash form the heart of the story. Fidaa redefined the Telugu heroine and remains one of Kammula’s biggest hits.

3. Godavari

Set on a river cruise from Rajahmundry to Bhadrachalam, Godavari is a beautiful romantic tale. With its scenic visuals and gentle storytelling, the film explores love through the eyes of Sita and Ram, while showcasing regional culture and traditions.

5. Dollar Dreams

In Love Story, the director brings together romance and social issues. Revanth and Mounika, who connect through dance, navigate the challenges of caste and economic barriers. The film is emotional, relevant and bold in how it addresses difficult topics.

8. Anaamika

A remake of Kahaani, this thriller stars Nayanthara in the lead. While the film changes key aspects of the original, Kammula adds his touch through subtle commentary on social prejudices and a woman’s determination for justice.

9. Life Is Beautiful
