In a surprise incident, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP CM Ramesh WhatsApp account got blocked, in connection, to ‘violation of terms of service’ dating February 8 in a mail. Shocked over this, CM Ramesh said that he would take a legal route as he hasn’t violated any norms. He also added that he suspect Centre’s ulterior motive and will take up the issue in parliament.
Ramesh said that he has written mail to the service provider asking him the reason to block his account, which reads, “I have gone through the terms and conditions. As per my knowledge I have not misused. If I did maybe by mistake and I will make sure not to do it again. Kindly reactivate”. However, the WhatsApp group hasn’t disclosed the reason for blocking the TDP MP’s account.
