After scoring a blockbuster with his last film F2, Mega Prince Varun Tej is now coming up with a gangster drama called Valmiki. Directed by Harish Shankar, this movie is an official remake of Tamil hit film Jigarthanda. It was also officially announced that the movie will hit the screens on September 6.
Meanwhile, star actress Pooja Hegde is playing an extended cameo in the film. It seems that she will be seen in the flashback episode. If the latest buzz is anything to go by, there is another heroine in the film. She is Krishna Manjusha, who is making her silver screen debut with this one.
Krishna Manjusha is a Telugu girl, who worked as a software engineer in Hyderabad. Apparently, Harish Shankar was impressed with her acting skills and given her a chance. Hope she utilizes this opportunity to her best. Valmiki is being bankrolled under 14 Reels plus banner.
