The reason behind 'Dasara's dull business in AP
Why did some films fail to catch the pulse of audiences in some regions? ‘Dasara’ is not doing well in the ceded and Andhra regions. Whereas it is sweeping box office collections all over the globe.

People in the USA are thronging to theatres to watch it. Theatres in Telangana are showing nearly housefull boards. The makers earned good money in the overseas market.

But when it comes to ceded and Andhra regions, the collections are low. Is this because Andhra people didn’t like the story? Or is there any problem with the Telangana slang? At a time when people are binge-watching web series/ movies that belong to other South Indian languages, ‘Dasara’ shouldn’t be any problem for them. But why did the film fail in AP?

Primarily, it could be because of the difficulty of catching Telangana dialogues. The second could be the story/subject that director Srikanth Odela wanted it to be that way. What the ‘Balagam’s fate could have been in AP? They might take eons to understand subject and slang that is culturally rooted in Telangana?
