The dedicated Telugu OTT platform Aha is making sure to come up with a bundle of content regularly. The team of Aha is lining up a few exciting projects with renowned filmmakers. One such project is an upcoming fantasy thriller which is being directed by Pawan Kumar of U-Turn fame. Pawan Kumar made his debut with the 2013 thriller Lucia. This crowd-funded movie was a huge hit at the box office. He then made ‘U-Turn’ in both Kannada and Telugu.
Recently, he co-directed a web series called Leila for Netflix. Deepa Mehta and Shankar Ramen were the other directors of Leila. Now, Pawan Kumar is all set to direct a film for Aha. Touted to be a fantasy thriller, this film will feature Amala Paul in the lead role. We hear that Aha will announce more details of this project very soon. It will stream early next year. Currently, Amala is working for a Hindi web series under the production of Mahesh Bhatt. She has also acted in the Telugu remake of Netflix’s Lust Stories.
