Valmiki producers are upset with Harish Shankar. Yes, Valmiki, remake of Tamil hit Jigarthanda is running in troubled water owing to the fall out between Harish Shankar and its producers.
Reportedly, Valmiki producers were promoted by Harish Shankar to complete the film within Rs 20 crores. However, now the cost has escalated which left the producers fuming. On top of it, the filmmaker is said to be not responding to producer too. A source informs, “Now, Harish is asking for full remuneration before the release and the theatrical rights of a few areas like Vizag and Krishna, which has irked the producers.”
Varun Tej and Pooja Hegde
It is learnt that Varun Tej is being safe as he is only doing his work and not taking sides of either of them. On the other side, Pooja has been pain huge chunk of remuneration for a small role she did. The actress has alloted 20 days and the special song she was part of it was also shot in lavish scale. A source adds, “A few people close to the producers have now stepped in to solve the problem as the film is coming close to completion.”
