Usually heroes do fixed genres and try formula films. They work to build an image. Many heroes never even try to change the image and do different films. But, Varun Tej seems to be quite different. He is refusing to remain confined to one image trap. He is trying to experiment with every film. He is doing space thriller Antariksham and comedy in F2.
Both the films are as different as chalk and cheese. What more, he is soon going to do a villain’s role. He is going to do a negative role in Jigarthanda remake being made by Harish Shankar. He will be essaying the role that Bobby Simha, then an upcoming actor did. This has not only shocked the industrywallahs but also become the talk of the T town.
If Varun experiments like this, the producers and directors will try to innovate in every film. This will force the other heroes to experiment. Varun Tej sure is thinking like a Tamil or Bollywood hero. This is proving to be a big headache for the other heroes.
