Sai Pallavi and Rana Daggubati have teamed up for the first time. The duo will be sharing screen space in Venu Udugula’s Virata Parvam. Touted to be a romantic action drama, the film is set against the backdrop 1990s Naxal from Andhra Pradesh.
Rana will be seen as Naxalite while Sai Pallavi who falls for him essays the role of a country-singer. The first look of Fidda actress was unveiled on her birthday. To get into the skin of her role, it is learnt that Sai Pallavi is undergoing intent training.
The film has an ensemble cast with the likes of Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra, Zarina Wahab, Eswari Rao and Sai Chand among others. Bankrolled by Sudhakar Cherukuri, the camera is cranked by Dani Sanchez Lopez and Divakar Mani.
