101 Jillala Andagadu Movie Review

101 Jillala Andagadu is a film that has a hilarious premise. The film is out now and, read our review to see if the film has any juice in it or not.

Plot

GSN played by Srinivasa Avasarala is a bald man who hides his reality from everyone. Things get easy for him with the entry of Anjali(Ruhani Sharma). But she too ditches him after knowing that he is bald. How will GSN repair all his big problems in life is the basic story of the film.

Performances

Srinivasa Avasarala is a very natural actor and he does well in this film. The problems that people who are bald and how they are low on confidence are nicely brought out by the actor. Ruhani Sharma plays the main lead and she is so pretty in the film. She also has improved a lot in her performance and is very good to see on screen.

Analysis

A story related to the baldness of a man has been touched in so many films earlier. The film has so many moments borrowed from the Hindi film Bala. The only difference here is the love story and this has been not dealt with well in a way.

The first half has decent comedy but when the film needed some crunch comedy scenes, things go for a toss. The angle in which the heroine reacts and handles the hero’s issues is not at all showcased well. This is where the second half goes for a toss.

If the director would have handled the second half well and added more drama through the hero’s role, things would have made a world of difference. But still, the film has some fun moments which are relatable and can be given a shot for it alone.

Bottom Line – Only for a few laughs
