Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday will be sharing screen space for the first time in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Khaali Peeli.The shooting of the same was halted due to the Corona pandemic, but now that shootings are resuming, Ishaan and Ananya, too, will be starting to shoot for the same.
According to sources close to the project, the patchwork of the film will happen around August end and the shooting will resume at the same time as well. The director Maqbool Khan, is eyeing the date August 20, to start the shooting of the film. The makers are also looking for a 2-day indoor shoot for the same. The post-production will too commence, once the film goes on floors completely.
Amid the pandemic, since movies like Sadak 2, Laxmmi Bomb, Lootcase, Kargil Girl, went the OTT way, there were rumours that even Khaali Peeli will be released on an OTT platform. But producer Ali Abbas Zafar said that they will wait and watch for the situation to calm down, before taking any hard calls. On the work front, besides Khaali Peeli, Ishaan Khatter will be seen in Phone Bhooth along with Katrina Kaif and Sidhanth Chaturvedi. He is also starring in the televised adaptation of The Suitable Boy. On the other hand Ananya Panday will be seen romancing Vijay Devarakonda in a multi-lingual film.
