An occasional film appearance and a host of TV shows… that’s Anasuya. She has been working very hard to find the right perch in the Telugu film industry. Rangasthalam did help her in many ways. Since then she has been getting plum offers. Of late, she has been chosen to play a very different character in YSR biopic Yatra.
Director Mahi sculpted a very special role for it. However, her character is a fictional character, which is a mix of two or three key characters in YSR’s life. This role will have shades of two or three real-life characters. The director did this as he did not want the film to look like a documentary. The technique he adopted worked out well, sources say. Yatra is set for release on February 8.
