Andhra Pradesh witnessed another coronavirus death, taking the casualties tally to 15. Meanwhile, in last 24 hours 31 new cases were reported, taking the state’s tally of positive cases to 603. Of the 31 new cases, 18 were reported from Krishna district and 5 from Kurnool.
Accoring to Health Officals bulletin, health department 42 patients have so far recovered and have been sent home. With this the number of active cases stands at 546. A day back, the state government purchased one lakh rapid COVID-19 testing kits from South Korea, which gives results in 10 minutes. The kit was brought in a special aircraft and was launched at CM camp office in Tadepalli.
