Journalist, film critic and writer Prabhu is coming up with a film titled Wrong Gopal Varma soon. Popular comedian Shakalaka Shankar plays the lead role in the film that’s reportedly a satire on RGV. Human rights activist Devi had unveiled the logo of the film earlier in the day.
This is nearly the third film that’s being satirical about RGV, the earlier attempts being Shyam Gopal Varma, Parannajeevi.“I am generally against the idea of targeting people through films. However, those who make money by feeding negativity against the very industry that has made them what they are, deserve to be taught a lesson. It’s shameful that this personality feels he’s not answerable to society. I have already heard a song written by Prabhu and he’s done a fine job of it,” said Devi.
Wrong Gopal Varma is only a song and few sequences away from completing principal shoot. The film is very likely to release on an OTT platform shortly. Prabhu is writing, producing, directing the same.
