Premam beauty Anupama Parameswaran is in a fix. Though she is finding a great response in the Telugu industry, she is not getting the kind of films that will take her to the next level. Even Dil Raju starrer like ‘Hello Guru Prema Kosame’ didn’t exactly help her career take wings.
The film has got just about average talk and is pulling on with weekend collections, primarily because there is no competition. So, she is worried about her next projects. Though offers are raining, she is finding it difficult to judge the stories. So, unable to decide, she is sending the producers back.
Of course Anupama has reasons to feel cagey. Three films she did prior to Hello Guru Prema Kosame tanked on trot. Unndi Okate Zindagi got her name but not success. Krishnarjuna Yuddham was a huge disaster. Then came the eminently forgettable ‘Tej I Love You.’ With all these taking her nowhere, Anupama is mulling whether to settle in Malayalam industry or do Telugu films too. Her competitor Sai Pallavi is zooming on the fast lane in all the languages, but she seems to be only moving in circles.
