Andhra Pradesh government follows Delhi suit. After the liquor prices were hike in the national capital, the AP government has hiked the liquor prices to 75 percent which will be effective from today afternoon.

The moves comes a day after the state government had hiked the prices by 50 percent. The move comes in the wake of long queues and no social distancing outside the wine shops. However, despite the hike this didn’t deter the tipplers as the pictures and videos of long queues were all over the social media.
Thought wine shops are allowed to do business from from 11 am to 7 pm, people started queuing up much before the opening timings.
