A ghastly video of Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department’s Deputy Manager C Bhaskar assaulting female colleague, Usharani has gone viral. The viral video shows the official beating the differently-abled woman worker with a thick wooden stick which has been caught on camera and since then doing rounds on social media.The incident was reported from Nellore and has drawn heavy flak from netizens seeking stern action against him. The official has now been suspended.
Meanwhile, the incident also caught Bollywood actresses attention who have come out heavily on him. Actress Neha Dhupia reacting to the violent act, penned a strong note, which reads, “What’s going on… this man and many more like him if they are out there need to be taught a lesson… everyone knows where his place is … seriously , where does this entitlement, ego, anger come from!!!”
Richa Chadha also reacted to it, who wrote, “Once he’s done hitting her, other unkils walk WITH HIM, leaving the woman alone, lest he need to be comforted after this outburst of violence BY HIM. This is our society. You’re foolish if you think we’re not living in sickness! Sick,” Richa had posted. The police have register a case against Bhaskar and further action will be taken upon inquiry.
