The year 2020 has been lull for the showbiz industry. Well, with the unimaginable COVID outbreak across the world, the government has stalled the works that has pushed the economy to slump. Same is scenario of Tollywood where big-ticket films from RRR to Acharya and Vakeel Saab among others release dates got postponed. Joining the race is highly anticipated for Nandamuri fans- BB3. Directed by Boyapati Srinivas starring Balakrishna, the film was supposed to have Dusera release this year.
However, with no shoots in progress currently, the film is now aiming for Sankranthi release. Hyderabad bedimming another COVID spot with spike in Coronavirus cases, the shoots of many films is on hold. According to reports, the filming of tentatively titled BB3 is likely to happen after August. The teaser and first look of Balakrishna released on his 60th birthday was a huge hit. Showcasing the rural setup, the dhoti look, sharp cinematography and lines like ‘Edutivaritho ela matladalo nerchuko, seenu garu mee nanna garu bagunnara anedaniki, seenu garu mee amma mogudu bagunnada anedaniki chala theda undira…’ prove yet again why Balakrishna’s affiliation with Boyapati is always bound to strike gold.
