DevaDas starring Nagarjuna and Nani has a grand release on September 27 amidst huge expectations. Sriram Adittya has wielded the megaphone starring Rashmika Mandanna and Aakanksha Singh. The film is produced by C Ashwini Dutt which received U/A certificate from the censor board with a runtime of 2 hours 44 minutes.
DevaDas is an action comedy flick and the plot revolved around Deva (Nagarjuna), a gangster while Das (Nani) plays a doctor. The two characters are polar opposites but what happens when they have to cross each other lives forms the crux of the story. The actresses who have potential, as it as seen in their previous film Geetha Govindan and Malli Rava are not used to the potential in this film. Keeping that aside, they bring the chemistry alive with their respective actor on the screen. Other artistes Naveen Chandra, Murali Sharma, R Sarathkumar and Vennela Kishore have lived up to their role. Check out audience first review on Twitter:

After a long run time of 90 minutes , First half ends with a twist. With 3 songs, some comedy here n there, positioning the story, @iamnagarjuna n @NameisNani ‘s buddy dynamics worked fine avoiding too much sentiments or boredom. @SriramAdittya #DevDas

#DevaDas 1st half comes to an end with an interesting turn of events. Nagarjuna just kummiyo..Nani is playing his part very well. Nani provides the major comedy relief in the 1st half. Pretty good 1st half. 2nd half should be interesting
