Hero Nithiin strained his every nerve for Srinivasa Kalyanam hoping it would rejuvenate his sagging career. But, the film disappointed him to no end. He has later taken up Bheeshma with Venky Kudumula as director. But, for some reason or the other, the project is getting delayed. Due to this, several rumours are doing the rounds.
Some wags created a Whatsapp Group claiming to provide acting opportunities to upcoming artistes. Several people got added to the group hoping for a casting call. Some have even paid up to Rs 3 lakh each for a role in the film.
This has come to the notice of the unit, which has now woken up and issued a clarification saying they have never given a casting call and that the unit has no link whatsoever with the Whatsapp group. The unit also refuted rumours that the shooting had already begun and that a schedule has already been shot.
But, even after all this, neither the unit nor Venky Kudumula revealed as to when the shoot would begin.
