Unlike to hype created about SSMB27 project with Maharshi director Vamsi Paidipally, things are now opposite. Superstar Mahesh Babu has called off the project with Vamsi. And here’s the reason why he called it quits is Mahesh didn’t like a point in the script and asked to rework on it and come with a bound script. Since Vamsi is still working on it an will take couple of months more, Mahesh may go with other directors who impress him wit a good a script.
A source informs, “Mahesh Babu wants the bound script of the film, but Vamsi is still writing it. When Mahesh Babu and Vamsi discussed a point in the story, Mahesh said he didn’t like it. He asked Vamsi to come up with a new version,” said the source, adding, “hence, the project may not take place now.”
On the other side, Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga met Mahesh. “Sandeep is not doing a second Hindi film, so he is keen to do one in Telugu. He met Mahesh Babu and discussed a possible story,” says the source. We have to see Mahesh goes with which director whetehr its Sandeep or Geetha Govindam director Parsuram or a fresh face.
