YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is resolute in his fight to liberate Andhra people from the devil forces mainly the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. To give solace to the distressed people and reinforce confidence among them, Jagan embarked on Padayatra on 3,648 km stretch in 341 days. He touched the hearts of as many as 1.25 crore people all through the Yatra ends On January 9 at Ichapuram in Srikakulam district.
The son of former Chief Minister YS Rajashekhara Reddy kick-started padayatra from YSR Ghat on November 6 last year. During the yatra, he visited 2,516 villages and took part in 124 public meetings including the last one in Ichapuram. At least 30,000 to 50,000 people attended the public meeting in a small town and in the big city, the headcount is between 60,000 to one lakh in every Jagan’s meeting.
Besides, lakhs of people met Jagan all along the Yatra and poured out their woes. The YSR Congress chief gave a patient hearing to everyone and assured them of getting rid of their problems soon after his party come to power. The “Aatmiya Sammelanams ” conducted with local communities also drew an immense response from the locals. People living in other countries also witnessed the successful conduct of padayatra by the YSR Congress Party President through TV channels
