Jagapathi Babu clarifies on Sarileru Neekevvaru exit

Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu has finally clarified on his exit from Sarileru Neekevvaru. Over the past few days, a lot was being said and written about Jagapathi Babu leaving away the project or being asked to leave the project to cast Prakash Raj. Ending the speculations, Jagapathi Babu in a video on Twitter opened up about it.

Jagapathi Babu beings stating that the cinema industry is akin to his family and he feels saddened to talk about it. He goes on to add that he never thought in a career spanning over 33-year-long he will be ever making such a statement. He says that he liked the character in  Sarileru Neekevvaru, adding he gave up other projects to be part of Mahesh starrer film. Due to unavoidable reasons, he had to leave the project. He wished the team and film ver best as he concluded.

Intesrtsngly, he didn’t reveal the reason for leaving the project, but it is learnt that Prakash Raj will step into the shoes of Jagapathi Babu. Talk has it that, Prakash Raj desperately in need of film, requested Dil Raju and also Mahesh to make him part of Sarileru Neekevvaru

Notably, filmmaker Anil Ravipudi has issued a statement on his Twitter handle which reads, “Thanks for understanding and we respect you, sir”.
