Grapevine has it that Mahesh Babu’s actress Kaira Advani is all set to romance Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar in Lakshmi. The film is the remake of hit film Kanchana helmed by Raghava Lawrence. The makers have said that while things are finalised to cast Kaira and the remaining part is she to sign on the dotted lines.
On finalising the director, the team said, “The makers want a Bollywoodised version of the film and hence Raghava has still not been confirmed as the director of the film. They are still looking out for someone who can shepherd the project. Apart from Lakshmi, Akshay and Kaira will also be seen together in Good News.
Kaira who is on a roll has recently wrapped by Kabir Singh, the reak of hit Telugu film Arjun Reddy. The film is directed by the original director -Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
