Hero Karthi scored a super hit with last years bi-lingual drama Oopiri. Later he came up with a horror comedy flick, Kaashmora. Though the film remained as an average grosser, Karthi’s performance in the dual role, had been lauded by the critics. Currently, he just wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming film Kaatru Veliyidai under the direction of Mani Ratnam.
Touted to be a love story, this film has Aditi Rao Hydari in the female lead role. This movie was extensively shot in Leh, Bulgaria and other scenic foreign locations. In fact, this is the first time Mani went abroad for his film’s shoot. This is also the most expensive film in his career. The movie will hit the screens on March 24th. It is also being dubbed into Telugu and Hindi. The Telugu version rights were bagged by Dil Raju and it was titled as Duet. The makers are planning to release the film’s teaser very soon.
