Keerthy Suresh debuted with ‘Nenu Sailaja’ and got a good recognition, but much fame, success and appreciation followed her after her performance in the portrayal of yesteryear actress Savitri, in her biopic ‘Mahanati’. Since then she has been choosy about her projects.
After a commercial film like Sarkar, she signed a film under the direction of Nagendra, which is a female-oriented film. The movie was launched a couple of months ago and the shooting is happening at a rapid pace. According to our sources, the makers are contemplating ‘Sakhi’ as the title of the film, which reminds everyone of master filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s film. Along with Keerthy Suresh, Rajendra Prasad, Nadhiya, Naresh, Kamal Kamaraju and Bhanu Sree Mehra will also be seen in other key roles in this movie. It is being produced by Mahesh S Koneru.
