Naga Vamsi is making waves as one of Tollywood’s top producers, delivering hits with big and small heroes alike. His latest release, Guntur Karam, has stirred up a storm of discussion in the industry as the film that came with high expectations turned out to be a flop. Recently, in a social media interview, Naga Vamsi shared intriguing insights about this film and others in Telugu cinema.

During the interview, a reviewer engaged Naga Vamsi in a lively debate. Initially, Naga Vamsi praised Prabhas’ impactful scenes in Salaar. However, when questioned about the logic behind certain elements, such as a man being afraid upon seeing Prabhas’s tattoo, he defended cinematic elevation, highlighting that audience enjoyment often outweighs logical scrutiny. The reviewer questioned why the character would fear seeing the tattoo, suggesting that the person could be killed without hesitation. In response, Naga Vamsi said that audiences appreciate such elevation scenes, dismissing the need for strict adherence to logic. He further argued that these elevation scenes contributed significantly to Salaar’s impressive box office collections.

Moving on to Guntur Karam, Naga Vamsi suggested that while audiences might have anticipated a mass-oriented film based on the title, they were surprised to find a family-centric story on screen, possibly leading to disappointment. Conversely, those expecting a family film might have felt shortchanged by the lack of extensive family-oriented content.

He also addressed the placement of the song “Kurchi Madata Peti” before the climax, citing Mahesh Babu’s previous film’s success with a similar placement of blockbuster songs. Therefore, they followed the same in this film. Naga Vamsi explained that they didn’t concern themselves with logic, such as why Sreeleela’s character would wear a saree or the necessity of a song in that particular scene.

Addressing criticisms regarding Trivikram’s directorial abilities, Naga Vamsi vehemently defended the filmmaker. He clarified that Trivikram had no involvement in the Bro film whatsoever. He acknowledged Trivikram’s contribution toBheemla Nayak but dismissed claims of his involvement in Bro Naga Vamsi explained that Trivikram was occupied with Guntur Karam during the production of  Bro, hence his absence from the project.
