Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi took the box office by storm on an opening day. The movie had collected Rs 24.6 crore share on the first day. It has also surpassed the first day numbers of Baahubali: The Beginning in Nizam area.
While the trade is predicting that Maharshi would witness a fall after the first weekend due to its mixed talk, the film remained unshakable at the box office on Friday.

Maharshi success party
Meanwhile, buoyed with positive openings, the Maharshi team celebrated its success party with small get together. Namrata Shirodkar shared the pictures with the caption, “Celebrating #maharshi.” In the pictures we can see, Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hegde, along with director Vamsi Paidiaplly and three producers and DSP. We also get o see Rowdy boy, Vijay Deverakonda joining the celebrations.
