Pooja Hegde’s Upcoming Films: A Risky Lineup
Pooja Hegde is currently facing one of the toughest phases of her career. Although she is known for her charm, glamour, and a large fan following, her recent movies Retro and Deva were complete failures at the box office. However, she still has a few upcoming films lined up. While they offer some hope, none of them appear to be guaranteed blockbusters.
One of her upcoming projects is a special appearance in Coolie, a much-awaited film starring Superstar Rajinikanth. She will be seen in a special song. If this song becomes popular, it might give her some positive attention.

Next, she will be seen in Jana Nayagan, which is expected to be Thalapathy Vijay’s last film before he quits acting and joins politics full-time. Since the movie will mainly focus on Vijay’s political journey, Pooja may not get much screen time or importance.
Another film on her list is Kanchana 4, a horror-comedy that is part of a hit franchise. But the series has lost its charm over the years. Unless the makers bring a fresh story and strong horror elements, this film could also end up being a disappointment.
Lastly, she will appear in a romantic comedy titled Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, co-starring Varun Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur. The film is directed by David Dhawan. But considering his last film Coolie No. 1 failed to impress audiences, expectations are low. Also, sharing the spotlight with Mrunal might limit Pooja’s presence.
