PVP Cinemas is one of the top production houses in the South India. It has earlier produced many big flicks like Naan Ee, Varna, Oopiri, Kshanam and Brahmostavam. But this year has not been fruitful for them as the company went down into huge losses with much anticipated Brahmostavam. Though OOopiri was widely acclaimed, it was also a loss venture. After Oopiri, PVP and director Vamshi Paidipally joined hands together for another film, with Mahesh Babu as the hero.
But recently, Vamshi announced that his film with Mahesh Babu will be jointly produced by Dil Raju and Ashwini Dutt. This has raised the talk stating that PVP backed out from the project due to the recent loss ventures. Now, PVP filed two cases against Vamshi. On in the Madras High Court to restrain Vamshi and his writers from using same plot and concept for the Mahesh’s Film. One more case was filed against this Yevadu director stating that he should repay the losses incurred due to Oopiri which is around Rs. 21 crores. We have to see how Vamshi will respond in both the cases.
