Raashi Khanna has been brought in as a replacement to Aditi Rao for Vijay Sethupathi’s Tughlaq Durbar. Aditi Rao has allegedly left the project due to clashing dates with Maha Samudram, a Sharwanand and Siddarth starrer. The actress has shown her acting prowess in World Famous Lover and Toli Prema but with World Famous Lover becoming a disaster, the actress is not getting good projects. 
She also delivered a hit recently titled Pratiroju Pandage but is compelled to take up projects in Tamil as nothing interesting is offered here. A photo shoot pictures were released recently in which she wore a half saree and was looking very pretty. This is the second time the combination is happening; Vijay Sethupathi and Raashi Khanna who were last seen in Vijay Chander’s Sangathamizhan. 
Touted to be a political drama, Tughlaq Durbar is being directed by Delhiprasad Deenadayalan. The film’s first look poster was released earlier this year featuring Vijay Sethupathi seated on a table and a huge golden coin placed in front of him bearing the film’s title. The film went on floors last year and is only half-complete. It also Parthiban who plays the main antagonist, Manjima Mohan who plays the sibling to Sethupathi’s politician character.
