Renu Desai is making her comeback in Tollywood. Yes, you read it right. But the former actress is not getting into acting but donning the cap of a director. Renu Desai would be directing a Telugu film which revolves around the issues of farmers. According to reports, she has made the script ready and is peening the dialogues and will also producer her movie.
Renu Desai To Direct Telugu Film
Renu apparently wants to interact with farmers, so to get to know first-hand information she would be staying amidst farmers for some time. For the uninitiated, Renu Desai has ventured into direction long back, as she as directed Marathi films under Akira Films and Shree Aadhya Films.
Earlier, during a media interaction, she said, “When I came to Hyderabad as a judge for a dance reality show, everyone was asking when I would direct a movie in Tollywood. Now I am ready to direct a Telugu movie. I’m done with the script and am now working on the dialogues for the upcoming Telugu drama. As I have done farming during childhood along my father, I know very well, that what problems a farmer faces. Now I want to go to a village, so I can know much about their lives.”
“I will not only direct the movie but also will produce. My Telugu film will not only highlight the farmers’ plight, but also showcases the solutions,” Renu added.
