In a sensational move, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) took a decision on Saturday to file a defamation suit against Telugu daily for Rs 100 crore for publishing misleading article on TTD. The decisison was taken by TTD Trust Board Chairman YV Subba Reddy during its Board meeting wheretheysaid that they would not entertain wrong misleading ens that would mar the image of TTD and score of million of devotees.
The move came after the Telugu daily had published a prominent article base don social media posts alleging that TTD annual diary carried names belonging to other religions
