Samantha has pinned all her hopes on Shaakuntalam which has been directed by Gunasekhar. The film is a period drama and the trailer was not that well received by the audience.
But Samantha has seen the film and loved it to bits. “And I finally watched the movie today! @Gunasekhar1 garu. you have my heart. What a beautiful film! One of our greatest epics brought to life so endearingly! I can’t wait for our family audiences to be swept away by the powerful emotions!” she posted.
But the real question is whether the audience will love this film or not. It has been in the making for a long time and the VFX part in the trailer was trolled big time.
Also, the lack of a proper hero has disappointed one and all and even ho much the makers are trying to create a buzz there is nothing much happening in terms of hype. So, how much will the film impress us needs to be seen.
