Veteran actress Sridevi’s cause of death has been revealed. The forensic report stated “accidental drowning” as the cause behind her death. The autopsy report has been given to Sridevi’s family and Indian consulate. The actress’ body is likely to reach Mumbai around 8pm today.

The actress, 54, was found motionless in the bathtub by her husband Boney Kapoor. Even after 15 minutes when the actress didn’t turn up, Boney has to break open the door, only to find Sridevi lying in the bathtub. By the time she was rushed to hospital, doctors have declared her brought dead. The actress passed away on late Saturday night.
The actress’ body was supposed to reach Mumbai on Sunday itself, however, the autopsy carried out by UAE caused the delay.
