Valmiki is the upcoming Telugu film starring Varun Tej in the lead role. The film is the official remake of the Tamil film Jigarthanda.
Earlier, reports were pouring that Devi Sri Prasad has walked out of ‘Valmiki’ and he was replaced by Mickey J. Meyer, by director Harish Shankar S. Knowing the rapport and friendship between them, it came as a surprise to everyone in the industry.
According to our sources, the difference has been cited as a creative one. Harish Shankar wanted to remix one of the classic hits of ‘Megastar’ Chiranjeevi, which he regularly does for Mega films. Bur Devi Sri Prasad was adamant about not doing it and refused to work. After this, we also came to know that Pooja Hegde walked out of the film.
Now, it is heard that Harish is finding it tough to get a heroine on board. Though the makers wanted a popular face, the remuneration they allocated for the leading lady is less. Because of the same, Harish is said to be struggling to find a right face for the movie.
